Smaller than Scotch Eggs, these are made using a blend of chopped egg and mayonnaise centres. Ideal as a snack, for parties and picnics, they are easy to eat.
Scotch Eggs
Pork sausagemeat is formed around a whole egg centre. This is dipped into a breadcrumb and batter coating and fried. They are made as own label products for a variety of retailers. The Geo Adams brand offers a Lincolnshire pork sausagemeat version with a delicious sage flavour.
Mini Bites
A wide variety of alternative fillings and a choice of meat and coatings are referred to as Mini Bites. These are similar in size to chopped egg versions. Although the majority of products are based on pork, chicken is also a popular centre. Fillings can be mild or spicy, saucy or solid, based on children’s or adult tastes, smooth or with particulates. Coatings can be plain or spicy, flecked with herbs. Some of the products can be heated up but all of them are great eaten cold for snacking at any time of the day.
Crispbakes
One of the most recent additions to the Geo Adams production lines is the Crispbakes. Available in a variety of flavours including chicken & mushroom, minced beef and onion, corned beef, cheese & onion and tuna and cheese, these burger shaped fills are coated in breadcrumbs and fried. These are best eaten hot as part of a meal.
