Sausage Selection

The sausage factory at Ruskington makes a range of raw and cooked sausages using traditional or state-of-the-art processes. It is the home of the renowned Geo Adams Lincolnshire Pork Sausages which are still made with hog skins. A Lincolnshire-based initiative to protect the quality of the Lincolnshire Pork Sausage has attracted support from a wide section of the population of Lincolnshire.

The Geo Adams Lincolnshire Pork Sausage is sold through a number of large supermarkets in the Yorkshire and Eastern region of the country (plus a few stores elsewhere) but is also available in convenience stores in a wider section of the country.

A Lincolnshire sausage roadshow visits supermarkets throughout the summer months, offering hot samples for shoppers to taste, cooked in our mobile kitchen. Where consumers have not tasted them before, we find almost universal acceptance. They appreciate the coarse, meat texture and the distinctive flavour. Mums are often surprised how much their children enjoy the Lincolnshire taste, even if they were concerned that it might be “too spicy”.

Pork sausages are favourites throughout the whole country and are sold under the Adams brand in convenience stores.

Own label sausages are also made at Adams for Marks and Spencer, including innovative flavours and packaging solutions.

Cooked pork sausages are ideal as snack items and for children. These small sausages are referred to as “cocktail” and can be eaten straight from the packs. Heated up, they form part of a quick meal for children. Eaten alongside a dip, they are great snacking items for anyone. Adams pack these sausages in handy pack sizes with ketchup and also in larger packs for use at home.
