Tailor made to meet your talents and aspirations

Introduction

Whatever your area of specialisation and ultimate career choice, we believe that the best managers are those who have had the benefit of a broad base of working experiences. That is why the in first two years of our Graduate Training Scheme you will be expected to work in and contribute to number of different functions and locations. The objective is to give you an understanding of different issues affecting business plus an awareness of commercial matters in order to equip you for early progression.

The location of our five major sites, the vertical intergration of the business and the fact that we are still of size which allows personal involvement with the key decision makers means that you can benefit from real and varied experiences which will give you an excellent base upon which to build your future career.

The Scheme

The programme will normally cover a two year period. This will include a 2 week general induction to the business and will be followed by a four block work experience of approximtely 6 months each. These will cover the different functions and sites within the business and typically involve a mix of projects and day to day responsibilities.

Because we take on a limited number of Graduates each year, we are able to ensure that the needs and aspirations of each individual are considered. No two programmes are the same although time is spent in ensuring that you have the right mix of commercial, operations and technical experience.
